CDAA Website Policy

     Dental Assisting School Links are posted free of charge for programs accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. Through accreditation, these programs must allow the dental assistant student to meet DANB’s eligibility pathway I and to sit for the CDA exam upon program completion.

If there are changes to any program posted on the website for free, the posted program shall provide proof to the CDAA executive board, within 30 days that the program still falls within the required guidelines. If CDAA does not receive proof that the dental assisting program falls within the guideline, the CDAA may remove the posting immediately.  A request may also be made, by the CDAA Executive Board to a school/program, to provide information/proof that the dental assisting program meets the above required guidelines.

     Exam prep course links are posted for a specified fee, payable to CDAA. However, this is at the discretion of the executive board and some or all of the fee may be waived. These courses must be established, with a defined schedule and course outline available to those inquiring.

     A request shall be made directly to the CDAA Executive Board for ANY changes to the website, such as deletions, substitutions, additions or corrections, whereupon the webmaster will make the APPROVED changes. No one outside of the executive board should contact the web master directly.
